The Department of Quality Management at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology of VŠB – TU Ostrava is the leading university workplace which provides a complex education in the field of quality management in the Czech Republic. Being accredited, it guarantees education at the bachelor’s and master’s level within the study branch Quality Management as well as at the doctoral level within the study programme Management of Industrial Systems. The study plans and curriculum of individual subjects reflect the latest trends in these areas of expertise and are guaranteed by recognized experts.
Graduates of the study branch Quality Management are employed as quality technicians, quality managers and quality engineers, as well as executives in the area of quality management systems in both manufacturing and nonmanufacturing organizations. Many of them are put to use in the automotive industry, or work for automotive suppliers.
