RWP3 Processes and materials reducing the environmental impact of industrial products will deal with the proposal of new solutions in the field of waste and secondary products originating from the production and recycling of materials used in the energy sector and materials for applications in braking systems of autonomous vehicles and electric vehicles, where friction processes will still be applied to some extent for deceleration needs. Part of the research work package is the topic of car parts renovation to support the circular economy.
RWP3 is divided into three parts:
- WP3/1 Design of progressive column devices with multi-functional filters for recycling and processing of waste materials for energy storage (doc. Dr. Ing. Lumír Hružík, FME VSB - Technical University of Ostrava)
- WP3/2 Friction composites for automotive braking systems in sustainable mobility (prof. Ing. Peter Filip, CSc., Southern Illinois University Carbondale, USA)
- WP3/3 Sustainable refurbishment of selected automotive parts (Ing. Michal Weisz, Ph.D., FMST VSB - Technical University of Ostrava)
Leader RWP3:
prof. Mgr. Jana Kukutschová, Ph.D., FMST VSB - Technical University of Ostrava
