The International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) is an independent advisory body on the strategy and evaluation of the project team. The ISAB is composed of 9 eminent R&D personalities, of which 8 are foreign members and 1 member is from the application domain. Its chairman is Prof. Osamu Umezawa, PhD. from Yokohama National University, Japan.

ISAB:

Many years of experience in construction materials research, particularly in the field of cements and concretes, including production, durability, development of new binders etc.

Prominent expert in describing the behavior of building materials, focusing on disperse reinforced concrete, including fracture-mechanical aspects of their response to static and dynamic loads. 

Member from the application sector. Head of the research and development department of Bonatrans Group a.s. Bohumín (Czech Republic). 

Doc. Miroslav Boča is the director of Institute of Inorganic Chemistry SAS. Long experience in inorganic chemistry research. 

Prof. Hatem Akbulut is the director of University Research, Development and Application Center (SARGEM). Many years of R&D experience in metallurgy and materials engineering. 

Foreign member working at Lancaster University, UK. Professor and Director of the internationally renowned Centre for Environmental Magnetism and Palaeomagnetism at LEC Lancaster University. Honored with many awards for her longstanding work in the environmental sciences. 

Foreign member working at Research Scientist Institute of Electronics Microelectronics and Nanotochnology, University Lille. Elected member of the French National Committee for Scientific Research for the period 2016–2021.

Foreign member working at Yokohama National University. Involved in the development of Czech-Japanese research cooperation with VŠB. In 2022 he was awarded the International Science and Technology Awards 2022. Scopus databáze h-index 20.

Foreign member working at Yokohama National University. Excellent scientist in the field of materials engineering (specializing in strength and fracture of materials, high temperature strength, microstructure control, texture, surface treatment and coatings). Member of major scientific institutions (e.g., Japan Institute of Metals and Materials, Japan Society of Heat Treatment, Japan Ceramic Society, American Ceramic Society).
