Summary
The research subject of the project focuses on the development of an innovative neuromodulation device utilizing advanced materials and additive technologies for effective rehabilitation of athletes. The research targets the following areas:
• Design and development of ergonomic electrodes and devices: Using conductive polymers and composite materials to ensure efficient transmission of electrical impulses while maintaining user comfort.
• Application of additive technologies: Rapid prototyping and optimization of device construction through 3D printing, including the production of adaptable device casings.
• Testing and validation: Verifying the mechanical, biocompatible, and functional properties of the device in simulated sports rehabilitation conditions.
The goal of the research is to create a neuromodulation technology prototype that meets the needs of sports medicine while offering broader application potential in home care, research, and education. The research bridges material engineering, modern manufacturing techniques, and sports medicine, contributing to innovative solutions in rehabilitation technologies.
