Summary
The project combines topics related to advanced materials. The following topics will be addressed in the project: functional nanoparticles based on clay and carbonaceous materials, and its modified forms, synthesis and characterization of nanocomposite materials. This project follows on the project SP 2021/106.
The main content of the project is the preparation of hybrid nanocomposite materials based on thin films and nanofibers, which are expected to be used both in healthcare and in energy and environmental applications. Clay and carbonaceous materials will be prepared and modified as nanofillers, which will be enriched with metal oxides / sulphides or antimicrobial organic components and their possible combinations. An important part of the preparation will be the optimization of functional parameters of nanofillers for polymer and carbon matrices. The prepared nanocomposite will be characterized by chemical, structural and phase composition. The morphology of particles and surfaces of prepared thin films will be studied as well. Attention will be focused on analyzes of stability of functional components in nanocomposite structure and testing of their properties. Chemical analysis using atomic spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, FT infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, in situ correlation microscopy AFM / SEM, TGA / DTA analyzes will be used. The project will be solved in the partial steps, which will be interconnected.
