The Department of Industrial Systems Management guarantees the following study programs in English:
master study program Quality Management and Management of Industrial Systems and doctoral study program Management of Industrial Systems.
Our graduates acquire economic, technical, scientific and managerial knowledge and practical skills, supplemented by knowledge in the field of law.
In addition to teaching, our Department of Industrial Systems Management also cooperates for a long time with a number of companies, research organizations, Czech and foreign universities and universities in the field of science and research. The scientific research and development activities of the department are mainly oriented towards economics, industrial and control systems, e.g. in the areas of production planning and control, economic and social sustainability of production, strategic planning and modern methods of managing industrial systems, managerial decision-making, the use of exact methods and computer support of decision-making processes, etc.
In all the above-mentioned areas, we also offer project cooperation to industrial enterprises and other companies, especially in the field of applying scientific knowledge to industrial practice.
The results of the department's scientific research activities are published in prestigious world journals and proceedings of international conferences, maintained in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.
