Summary

The goal of the OptiTechNTL project is the optimization of low-pressure die casting technology with maximum use of secondary raw materials. New technological procedures will enable the company to use batch materials with reduced quality in the conventional foundry production of cast parts from aluminum alloys used in the automotive industry. These are castings with safety elements (aluminum wheels) with increased demands on the resulting mechanical properties, as well as elements with increased demands on surface quality. In this way, costs for the preparation and production of the melt will be reduced, the efficiency of refining procedures for casting castings will increase, and the innovative technology will enable the foundry to produce new demanding products with higher added value.
