Summary
The aim of the project is to develop casting technologies of manufacturing of metallic foams in operating conditions, the company foundry and pattern shop (SAM) Nove Ransko, s.r.o. For the development and further optimization of the developed technologies will be used in laboratory and pilot tests with subsequent verification of operating conditions. Condition for the use of metal foams are inexpensive ways to manage their production without any further claims for retrofitting centers foundries any capital-intensive machinery and equipment. Therefore, the purpose of the project development of casting technologies based on gravity and low-pressure casting into sand or metal casting molds. Developing methods of casting will expand production portfolio foundries of new products.
